It's been super cool getting up every am with a cup of Colombian and watching
Cory surf his heats. Since the early rounds of Tahiti I've noticed that Cory
has been surfing his heart out. His tube riding has been A-plus. Just standing
in on so many gnarly barrels, cool in the pocket and refusing to fall, popping
out of the deepest pits. He has been as good as anyone on tour but keeps getting
behind the 8 ball for different reasons. For me watching the kid surf is like
watching the Bucs. You just want him to do so good. I feel the same way when
he loses as when the Bucs lose, just bummed and p/o'd. If it's frustrating
for us, you can only imagine whats going through his head. Keep your chin up
