Fuel TV's "The Daily Habit", will feature world surfing phenom Cory Lopez on Monday June 25th at 6pm and 9pm and Tuesday June 26th at 12 noon and 3pm. All times are Pacific Standard (PST). Consult your local listings for correct show times in your area.
Cory is one of the most recognized names in surfing, the world over. Although Lopez hails from Indian Rocks Beach on Florida's Gulf Coast, he is known more for his aerial skills and barrel riding bravado at spots like Teahupoo and Pipeline. A top rated surfer on the ASP World Championship Tour, his numerous accolades include a first at Teahupoo in 2001, a US Open Title in '03, and 3 consecutive X Games Gold Medals. He has been rated as high as 1 st, with a final season rating of 3rd on the elite ASP/WCT Tour. Cory's older brother Shea has also been a top contender on the WCT and is currently looking strong for requalification to the elite ranks after fully recovering from an injury incurred in 2003. Cory's younger brother Matty and sister Ashley have been surfing with Shea at his "training grounds" in Costa Rica and are considered by some observers to be the next Lopez surfing sensations that will carry the pro surfing torch.
